In Venice, deliveries travel by boat. To bring a C. Bechstein A 190, a 190 cm grand piano, to a customer’s home, we loaded the wrapped instrument onto a cargo boat and crossed the Grand Canal, past the church of San Stae and the palaces on the water.
The instrument
The A 190 is a grand piano from the C. Bechstein line, designed and built in Germany: a full, colourful sound in an instrument that also fits a living room.
