Pianos need periodic tuning to preserve the quality of the instrument and its sound: the strings exert around 16 tonnes of tension on the cast-iron frame, pins and soundboard, and over time vibration and humidity shift that balance. We recommend tuning every 12–15 months.
We offer an at-home service, bookable by phone, email or contact form, for private clients, schools, institutes and theatres throughout the region. During each visit, our technicians also carry out a general check of the mechanics: minor adjustments (sluggish action, sticking keys, broken centre pins) are included at no extra cost. On request, voicing can also be carried out after tuning.
